Version 1.4 is out! Here’s what’s new:
- BUG FIX: entering a score of more than 9 in a league fixture would result in some cases as a lost game for that player when they had in fact won.
- BUG FIX: saving a league twice in a row could crash the software
- BUG FIX: password would set even if it was disabled, stopping people from accessing the software
- BUG FIX: Creating a league where the games to play was > 2 could crash the program
- BUG FIX: On page 2 or greater of League Fixtures the date chooser would also be there, even if no matches were set!
- BUG FIX: Runtime error 340 fixed when displaying League Fixtures
- BUG FIX: Dates on Page2 or higher of League Fixtures aren’t always consecutive
- BUG FIX: If games 2 play > 2 it would still only show the first two sections of Fixtures, the rest would be blank!
- BUG FIX:Fixed an output error with HTML files which caused home&away to be disabled.
- BUG FIX: Changing the date on a League Fixture wouldn’t always save it.
- BUG FIX: In the League Fixtures the Week/Date chooser would vanish after skipping through pages.
- ENHANCEMENT: Tournaments no longer ask for players names, simply enter the number of players (up to 64) & you can print a Tournament sheet out!
- ENHANCEMENT: The interface has been upgraded & looks better!
- ENHANCEMENT: The registration process has been enhanced to stop confusion over the Registration code.
- MAJOR ENHANCEMENT: The help system has been given a major revamp to assist with every aspect of creating & maintaining your leagues
- NEW FEATURE: On line forums are now available to discuss LM2000 at http://forums3.asp-dev.co.uk/LeagueMaker2000/
Also, in progress (date for release not yet available)
- IN PROGRESS: We are working on a feature which let’s you publish your league straight to the internet. Users can then view their progress on-line
- IN PROGRESS: Major revamp of how the software looks…….The plan is to make it simpler to use but pack more in there!

- Fixed a bug that caused the changing of dates to not save.

- V1.34 released on 25/04/01. Download it from www.leaguesoftware.co.uk/lm2000.exe
- Added another Team scoring type ‘Cumulative+Games’. This scoring type was added to support the game of ‘Petanque’, but can be used with many others.
- Added individual player stats for those who run Team games. Up until now you would print a League Table for a league of players or Team names. Now when you run a League you can get the overall positions & stats for the Team via the League Table….but you can now print a table giving stats ( wins, lost, points etc ) for players in every team.
- You can now change the output of the Column Names,eg. Instead of Name you can display Player Name, instead of Difference you can display +/- This gives a total of 15 columns that can be selected to display.
- fixed a bug in the League Table that caused it to sort on the wrong fields.
- added a password feature which can be turned on to stop people accessing your Leagues.
- incorrect spelling of Cumulative in the Team creation screen has been fixed.
- slightly modified the Registration screen to allow you to copy & paste the PC CODE. There are now 3 methods of registering the product.

Here is some info on the new scoring type:-
Cumulative+Games
This is a mix of the two other team scoring types.. The League runs as a standard Cumulative League but you record the number of games won as well as the points scored in each Team match. You can then sort/display the Games Won/lost & also Points W/L +/-
Consider the following:-
Team A vs Team B TripleA1 13 W vs TripleB1 11 L TripleA2 6 L vs TripleB2 13 W PairA3 13 W vs PairB3 10 L PairA4 13 W vs PairB4 9 L PairA5 1 L vs PairB5 13 W Match W L Games 3 2 Points 46 56 In this Team Match there are 5 games entered. The final score is that Team A wins 3 to 2 and the number of points is 46 vs 56. You can then sort on these like so:-

The Games For/Against & +/- are the columns WINS/LOST/DIFFERENCE. The Columns Points For/Against & +/- are the Columns POINTS + POINTS -/Points +/-
You can then change the display of these columns to suit your needs, eg. change Points +/- to P+/-

- You can now display the following Columns in your League Table:-Position, Name, Wins, Lost, Draws, +, -, Points, Played and Difference
- You can sort the League Table using up to 5 of these columns. Eg, you want to sort on Points then Wins then Draws then Difference. It’s up to you how you display the Table! This format can then be exported to HTML format.
- Added an IMPORT feature which lets you created a custom league fixtures list. Create your league in the normal way, then at STEP 3 you can click on IMPORT & specify the layout you wish.
- Also added:- when you upgrade to new version a popup box appears telling you what’s new

- V1.32 is due for release on 28/02/01.
- This version extends what was added in V1.31 by letting you sort the League Table by whatever fields you wish. This sorting goes 5 levels deep. So you can sort by Points, then Wins, then Draws, then + then –
- You can sort by ANY field & it can be from 1 to 5 levels deep.

- V1.31 has just been uploaded! Download in now from www.leaguesoftware.co.uk/lm2000.exe
- This version now allows you to fully customise the ‘League Table’. You can select which column you want to be displayed & in what order they appear. You can then export this format to HTML.
- New colour scheme introduced & also better information on how to register the software.
- The customise screen has been revamped. This is where you configure your output for the League Table.

- V1.3 has just been uploaded! Download in now from www.leaguesoftware.co.uk/lm2000.exe
- Included in this new version is ‘Team Leagues’. You can create ‘Team Leagues’ with up to 32 Teams with up to 16 players in each team. You can keep track of individual scores for each player & there are different scoring system available. You can print blank Team score sheets to pass on to others.
- The user interface has been revamped so that all the scores can be entered from the ‘Fixtures screen’.
- Better support for 800×600 resolution.
- Online help has been updated with new features from V1.3. Also, LM2000 now has ‘bubble help’ which you can see when you’re creating the leagues.
- Several bugs associated with Home & Away have been corrected as well as several minor corrections/fixes.
- We recommend that you all upgrade to V1.3.
- Work is now underway to revamp the League Tables to allow you to customise the output you want & the order in which you want to see it. We’ll also be adding a password feature to stop anyone from running the program & altering the leagues (by popular request!)

- this update includes several minor bug fixes for the fixtures & tables.
- BETA testing on V1.26 is nearly complete. Expect V1.26 before Christmas.

- The web site is back up after being down for almost two weeks due to problems with our Host. My apologies to anyone who has been trying to contact us.
- V1.25.09 beta can be downloaded from http://www.leaguesoftware.co.uk/beta/lm2000.exe
- V1.25.09 has unofficial support for Teams as well as full support for normal leagues. The full release of V1.26
- This beta also has some bug fixes mainly for printing of leagues & tables.
- Work has started on V1.27 which lets you customise the output of League Tables so you can select any column you wish & the order in which they appear. (due to popular request!)

- This is ONLY an update which must be installed on top of V1.25. It fixes a problem when trying to reschedule dates.

- V1.25 will be available early Tuesday(22/8/00). This fixes a problem when printing leagues of more than 10 names that appeared in V1.22 & V1.23 & V1.24. Other fixes include:- better date selection, help boxes added for new users, Save As button added to leagues, fixed a bug in custom dates, bug fixed while entering scores, Customisation of ‘Week’ variable (eg, Match 1, Match 2 or Game 1, Game 2 instead of just Week), HTML colour added to exported Leagues.
- We have now moved to our new web provider. You should be using www.leaguesoftware.co.uk & all emails should go to [email protected].
- There have also been problems downloading from our site. This has now been fixed & well have also put a couple of mirror sites up for you to download from.
- Added a FAQ( Frequently Asked Questions) to the webpage.

- V1.24 available. minor fixes added.
– 14/7/2000
- V1.23 will be available today at 10PM GMT. Individual matches can now be swapped. For example, if you have A vs B you can change it to B vs A. You can do it at any time during the League. This was added to allow for better customisation of the league. Another good use is if you have 2 teams that play from the same venue you can now set it up so that when Team A is at home Team B is away. This only works for Leagues created with V1.23 & higher. You can also customise the default save/open path.

- V1.22 is now due on 2/6/00 at 9pm GMT. Sorry for the delay but we have just moved premises & had some teething problems with the move.
– 16/5/2000
- V1.22 will be released on 26/5/2000. New leagues will have the player positions more evenly spread out between home & away games. The limit of 2 games to play has been removed. You can set you players/teams to player each other as many times as you wish.

- V1.21 released. HTML help has been added. NEW Export to HTML feature added. You can export the League Fixtures & League Table to an .html file and then post it on the web. Also, a couple of minor bugs were fixed relating to customisation of dates & opening multiple Leagues.

- V1.2 released. Tournament option added which allows up to 64 players. Improved interface for entering scores & changing names. Some minor bugs fixed. V1.21 will follow shortly which will incorporate a better help system. V1.25 to follow soon after with an export feature.
– 27/4/2000
- V1.2 is on schedule and will be released in early May. This version includes a Tournament option that supports up to 64 names( and possibly higher). You can print to A4/A3 & enter results . V1.25 will be released in late May & will include better support for entering scores into leagues & an export feature to several formats. V1.3 will be released later & will allow for league ‘teams’. For example, if you have snooker league of x teams, where each team have 10 players you would still enter the result as 7-3 in the League but you can click on that result and enter the individual players scores. This last feature was requested by a user. As always if you have any ideas then please let us know.

- Standard version withdrawn, only League Maker 2000 Pro is available.

- V1.1 due 31/3/2000 will have the ability to reschedule matches & create matches on any dates
- Added a FAQ about LM2000.
- V1.2 is due before June & will allow you to create tournaments with up to 32 names, different formats & the ability to update the tournament as it progresses. You will be able to use the name from existing leagues or enter new names.
- League Maker 2000 is still only �30. User who have already purchased LM2000 Pro will get an automatic upgrade to V1.2. further details will follow.

- There will be an upgrade option added to the downloads section for those who have LM2000 & just want to upgrade to the latest version. This saves downloads times where the full download is about 4.8meg & the upgrade is about 500K.
